Project background:

With the continuous development of the cloud computing industry and internet+ proposal, related business number of Jiangling District Health Board was explosive growth. Traditional data center are facing new challenges on scalability, efficiency , operation and maintenance , energy consumption and safety which due to " solid " situation of the traditional data center. Most of the traditional data centers adopt the module of "special computer for special use", storage devices accumulation and private network. This lead to limited system expansion, inefficient, energy waste, high operation and maintenance costs, complex security management etc.

In response to the call of national and resolve the current business difficulties the Health board decide to construct unified and standard cloud data center, thus to transform the existing information center and accelerate the pace of construction through cloud computing and virtualization technology.

By building cloud data center, user can solve the existing shortage of the traditional computer lab, thus to promote health and family planning information construction, including the following:

1, Enterprise data center , based on cloud model and inject virtualization technology to realize high flexibility, easy expansion , high availability and unified management of IT services platform on the form of platform architecture and technology.

2, New purchased 5 high-performance X86 architecture physical servers, use virtualization technology to establish a unified computing resource pool to solve the existing problem of slow on-line speed and complex internal approval process

3, Breaking the traditional "special computer for special use" architecture, improve resource utilization of a single physical server, reduce the cost of physical equipment, reduce investment and energy consumption .

4, Use professional P2V software to migrate the existing applications to virtual environment, guarantee the normal operation of the existing application system

5, Establish convenient, simple and visual operation and maintenance management system, simplify maintenance difficulty.
